As the craft encompasses not only the art of acting, there was need to bring in more artistes of various kinds to make sure various forms of talent get showcased in the platform that is our production.
One such platform is Madras Mic Drop. Launched in September 2015, MMD plans to operate as a talent scouting model bringing everyone from Beatboxers to musicians, from magicians to poets to stand Up comedians under the performance wing of Crea Shakthi thereby making our theatre a more collaborative experience for the creators as well as the audience.
In October 2014, Crea Shakthi launched its stand up comedy vehicle The Pundits with a grand and houseful aunch in The Music Academy.
The show was the start of our journey in the line of comedy with in house comedians ready to make you laugh your guts out. The Pundits, managed by CreaShakhi are available for your events. Want your gathering to have a good laugh be it a wedding, a seminar, a party call on the pundits you can trust them to have an opinion (a rib tickling one)!
